Kenyan Team leaves for England to play Hull City

The selected Kenyan Premier League team dubbed Sportpesa AllStars left the country today afternoon for England where it will play a friendly match with Premier League club Hull City.

The trip, which is being sponsored by Kenyan betting firm Sportpesa, is a big step for the players and Kenya Premier League KPL as the players will get a chance to play and interact with the English Premier League EPL club players.

The 18-man team coached by Harambee Stars tactician Stanley Okumbi is scheduled to take on Hull City on February 27 at the KCOM Stadium.
The team which will be the first Kenyan team to play against an English club is scheduled to play a friendly match against Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani this Sunday before leaving for UK.
Sportpesa signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Hull City FC, last year. The game will be live on KBC Channel One.
