Meet current top 5 Kenyans with most Instagram followers

The year 2018 is still young, but a few months in Instagram Time can feel like ages (so many selfies, so little time). Whether they have the most compelling feeds or just the most loyal fandoms, the celebrities with the biggest Instagram followings say a lot about the year in social media so far—whose feeds we’re thirsty to scroll though for endless glam shots and what makes us hit that “like” button.
Below, are the Kenyans celebs with most Instagram followers:

1. Lupita Nyongo- 1.4M

She  is a Kenyan-Mexican actress. She was born in Mexico to Kenyan parents and raised in Kenya. She attended college in the United States, earning a bachelor’s degree in film and theater studies from Hampshire College.

2. Huddah Monroe- 1.2M

Huddah Monroe is a Kenyan model, she became a top Kenyan socialite after she participated in the Big Brother Africa 8 show in South Africa. She is also refer to as “The Boss Lady”

3. Erick Omondi- 1.1M

He  is a Kenyan Comedian mainly known from the show Churchill Show. He later left Churchill to follow his own path of comedy features which have so far made him wealthy.

4. Sauti Sol- 1M

Sauti Sol is a Kenyan afro-pop band formed in Nairobi by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005. Initially an a cappella group, guitarist Polycarp Otieno joined before they named themselves Sauti.

5. Vera Sidika -729K

She is  also known as Vee Beiby, is a Kenyan television and social media personality, celebrity, video vixen entrepreneur and socialite. Born and raised in Mombasa, Sidika gained media attention in her career when she appeared in P-Unit’s single, “You Guy”, released in 2012.She has been voted as one of Africa’s and East Africa’s top video vixens.
