PHOTOS: This is What Victoria Beckham Has Been Up to in Kenya

Celebrity fashion designer, model, and singer Victoria Beckham has just concluded her three-day Kenyan visit.

The former Spice girls singer and wife of English sportsman David Beckham was in the country to oversee the BoxGirls project supported by Sport Relief.

During the visit, the 43-year-old designer demonstrated her boxing skills in Nairobi’s Kibera slums. She also interacted with women and girls, expressing how delighted she was that the girls she met had big dreams for their futures.

The mother of four also visited the Amref Clinic in Kibera where she interacted with kids and babies as they got vaccinated.

Speaking about the visit, Victoria said she had been supporting the work of Sport Relief for over a decade.

“I first went on a field trip to Peru in 2004 for the A Mile In Their Shoes documentary,” she said.

“Fourteen years later, here I am in Kenya, visiting incredible community projects that are protecting, educating and empowering women of all ages,” she explained.

“It is all down to the amazing generosity of the British public and the money you donate, that girls across the world are being given brighter, happier and healthier futures,” she added.

This is, however, not her first time in Kenya. She was in the country in 2016 to support the Beyond Zero campaign spearheaded by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
