Tanzania's Ommy Dimpoz makes a come-back with a new jam 'Ni Wewe'

After a year of hardship and going through three surgeries, Tanzanian celebrated musician Ommy Dimpoz has returned to the music scene with a new jam dubbed, ‘Ni Wewe’ .

Ommy said he wrote the song to thank his fans, family and friends but most of all “Our almighty Lord” who has protected him throughout his sickness to his well being.

For sure it has been a has been one hell of a year for bongo hitmaker, missing from the entertainment scene for a while,being in hospital and undergoing a 12-hour operation that left him in a coma.

The bongo crooner is a lucky man to be alive,he  has much to be grateful for and  those he owes a big thank you to is none other than Mombasa governor, Hassan Joho who came to his rescue.

‘’Governor Joho noticed that I was having problems swallowing food during Alikiba’s wedding in Mombasa. I could barely swallow anything. He offered to take me to his personal doctors for checkup,’’ speaking to a local tabloid Ommy disclosed.

After the much-needed consultation took place Joho’s doctors advised the ‘Yanje’ hitmaker to go to South Africa for specialized treatment after it was discovered that his condition was dire.
