Beyonce Drops Off “Homecoming” Live Album and Documentary

Beyonce released her “Homecoming” live album and documentary.
A year after she brought down the house at annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Beyonce released a film chronicling her impressive set coupled with some exclusive clips of her entire family. The documentary is titled Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé and is exclusively available on Netflix. The runtime is nearly two and a half hours, and it’s jam-packed with goodies including her memorable set.
Homecoming highlights candid moments from her rehearsal for the performance to home recordings. She also threw in some behind the scenes footages with her husband JAY-Z and their three kids, Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir. Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams additionally make appearances.
Beyoncé directed the film which gives a “private, inside and outlook” at the vocalist’s breathtaking performance that paid tribute to America’s to historically black colleges. Fans will get a chance to witness everything from “creative concept to cultural movement.”
The pop star also released a surprise album, Homecoming: The Live Album. The project features 40 tracks including some of her biggest singles like “Crazy In Love.”

“Thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline Coachella,” Beyonce told the crowd. The pop superstar was originally booked to perform at Coachella in 2017, but because of her pregnancy with her twins, Rumi and Sir, she had to canceled the performance and set it for 2018. The year long wait was well worth it.
