Sad month for Kambua as she mourns death of her grandmother

April is a sad month for renowned gospel artist Kambua Manundu.

The Citizen TV Rauka host is in mourning following the death of her grandmother who passed on Monday.


Kambua took to social media to grieve her grandmother sadly ponting out that people she loves pass on in April.

 “People I love seem to find their angel wings in April. Koma nesa sûsû wakwa (Sleep well, grandma). 15.04.2019,” Kambua wrote.

Father’s passing

Kambua lost her dad in April 2017 after a long illness and the singer has been celebrating his anniversary every year with heartfelt messages.

In one of her messages to her father, Kambua wrote, “I hope I make you proud with the choices I make and the accolades I earn. I hope in some way I carry your legacy with the honor you truly deserve. Sleep on my daddy. In a little while Tutaonana tena. 09/04/2017.’’
