Patoranking arrives in Kenya for the second edition of Choma Na Ngoma Festival

Patoranking, the headlining act in Radio Maisha’s second edition of the Choma na Ngoma Festival has landed in Kenya.

The singer who recently released a new album titled Wilmer, landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 8:10 PM before holding a press briefing.

Accompanied by his team, the father of one promised his Kenyan fans a thrilling performance on Friday, May 31 at the KICC grounds.

“I am so excited to be here,” the Nigerian singer said.

Patoranking also promised to perform some songs from his new album which he named after his daughter.

The cover photo on his latest album is a picture of his daughter.

“Right now I am transitioning. You mentioned my daughter’s name and I am smiling. It is a blessing and I am thankful to God for that,” he said.

When asked whether he has stage fright he answered that he is one of the best performers in the world.

“I want to taste Nyama Choma, go to the Kenyan ghetto and also ride in a matatu. I want to do something different this time, “he said.

Patoranking’s arrival comes just hours after Tanzanian artist Nandy landed in the country.

“To all my Kenyan fans, be sure to come to the KICC on 31 May; expect good music from yours truly,”  ‘the African Princess,’ as she’s popularly referred to said.

Dr Congo singer Alicios, who will also be performing at the Choma Na Ngoma arrived on 28 May.
