Eric Omondi Lights up the Internet with ‘Kanyaga’ Parody Video

Celebrated Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has excited his fans after releasing a parody video of Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz’s ‘Kanyaga’.

‘Kanyaga’ is a Swahili word that means step on. In the video, Eric encourages the national football team to ensure they ‘Kanyaga’ their next opponents Tanzania 4-0.

In the video, Omondi praises Harambee Stars players, and narrates how they will defeat Tanzania, when they clash on Thursday at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The theatrics in the video make it an awesome clip to watch.

So far, the video uploaded on YouTube barely a day ago has managed to get over 22k views with over 400 comments.

Omondi’s ‘Kanyaga’ is a parody of Diamond’s latest single ‘Kanyaga’.

Diamond’s hit is doing very well, and has already got over 13,000 views on YouTube just a day after it was officially released.
