Blind Singer Denno is struggling financially, says Bahati

Gospel Singer Kevin Kioko better known as Bahati has disclosed why his fellow singer Denno is missing from the limelight.

In a post on his Facebook page, Wednesday, Bahati explained that due to Denno being blind, the only source of income for him has been his music.

However, he said money for the production of the music has been a challenge for him because he has a family to fend for and that's why he has been silent and unable to record a song.

"Unfortunately the last 3 years have not been the best to our brother as you know our Country, one hit song is not enough to put food on the table. His biggest challenge being Finances," wrote Bahati.

"It has been almost impossible to be consistent in Music in this Era that our industry demands Quality. It's sad being in a situation where you have to raise a family using your Only gift," he added.

According to the singer, Denno whom they did a hit song 'Story Yangu' together opened up to him about his situation and felt the need to share.

He said the singer remains one of his music heroes and that he has proved that disability is not inability.

Bahati pledged to sponsor the audio and video production of Denno's songs henceforth until he is back ln his feet.
