Collins Injera returns to Shujaa squad ahead of Safari Sevens

Kenya Sevens technical bench has named a 24- man provisional squad ahead of the upcoming Safari Sevens tournament to take place from October 18 to 20 at the RFUEA ground.

The squad named marks the return of big names including Kenya’s top try scorer in the HSBC Collins Injera, Mwamba’s Billy Odhiambo, William Ambaka from Harlequins and Kabras Sugar Daniel Sikuta.

They join KCB’s flanker Andrew Amonde, Jacob Ojee, Daniel Taabu and Vincent Onyala among others.

The team has been in the training camp for the last two months under the leadership of Kevin Wambua.

Shujaa will battle out with defending champions Samurai, HSBC sides South Africa and Spain.

Others include Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia, Russia academy, Kenya Morans, KCB, Western Province and Blue Bulls from South Africa and Seventise Rugby from Russia
