‘My father is a preacher,’ reveals Zzero Sufuri

‘Zimenishika’ hitmaker Zzero Sufuri has come out to reveal that his father is a clergyman.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV’s 10 over 10 show, Zzerro Sufuri – who is one of the most sought after Gengetone artists at the moment – stated that his father even has his own church where he ministers.

He however clarified that there is no bad blood between them as might be expected going by their distinctly different lines of work.

The ‘Matisha’ hitmaker, fresh from a Qatar trip, further commended his father for being the foundation upon which he has been able to grow and become his own man and the celebrated artist that he is the country now.

“He (father) even has his own church. But I love and respect him so much, he’s the one who made me who I am today,” he stated.

“The stage I am at with my father, he knows music is my hustle so he respects it. This is work, this is my office…this is my church.”
