Bongo Flava star Harmonize proved he means business after turning down a multi-million offer to perform in Kibra on Sunday.

According to reports, Deputy President William Ruto’s camp sought the services of the former Wasafi signee to be the headline act in a concert to drum support for Kibra aspirant McDonald Mariga.

Harmonize, who recently started his own label -Konde Gang -, had reportedly asked for Sh3 million but on condition that he be paid in advance before landing in Kenya.

According to unverified sources within the Jubilee Party, there was a pull and push on whether it was worthy to pay the Tanzania singer that much for just a brief performance, reports Nairobi News.

The publication further reports that Harmonize was scheduled to jet in on Saturday but when the DP’s camp insisted on paying him on Monday, he declined.

Jamaican reggae artiste Kenyatta Hill, who was to curtain raise for Harmonize, ended up performing for nearly the entire campaign concert at Laini Saba in Kibra.
